PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

ORAL PRESENTATION
Please check your presentation date and time.  
Presentations must be prepared as PowerPoint files.
Presentation language: English.
Oral presentations will be restricted to 12 minutes (9 minutes + 3 minutes of discussion) to stay within schedules.
PowerPoint presentation file has to be provided to the organizers  30 minutes before the start of the respective session.
Use of your laptop is not recommended.

 

POSTER PRESENTATION
Participants are required to bring the printed poster to the conference.
Posters must be prepared in English
Size: Portrait format, single paper, 50 cm (width) x 70 cm (height).
Please note the abstract title, authors, and addresses on the top of the poster.
Materials required to hang the posters (clips, tape, scissors, etc) will be available in the poster area.
We kindly ask all poster authors to attend the Poster Presentation Session. 

 

SPEED TALK
Speed Talk presentations include a Poster Exhibition a short Oral Presentation (5 minutes + 5 minutes discussion).
Please check your presentation date and time.  


Short Oral Presentation's PowerPoint file has to be provided to the organizers latest 30 minutes before the start of the respective session. 
Presentation language:  English.
Short Oral Presentations will be restricted to 5 minutes + 3 minutes of discussion.

Speed Talk Poster guidelines:
Participants are required to bring the printed poster to the conference.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Congress aims to provide an interdisciplinary scientific environment for the discovery, mechanism, and presentation of the most exciting and new findings in enzyme discovery, mechanism, engineering, screening, and synthetic applications.

We cordially invite you to submit your abstract for Oral Presentation, Speed Talk (Short Oral Presentation + Poster), or Poster Presentation.

  • Please follow the guidelines provided below:
  • The submission of the abstracts will be done via the Online Submission System. Applications submitted by e-mail will not be accepted.
  • Abstracts will be presented either in oral presentations, speed talks, or poster format.
  • Abstracts must be prepared in English
  • Abstracts must be presented in English
  • Abstract text shall not exceed 250 words (excluding author details and references). 
  • Each registered author can present a maximum of 2 abstracts.
  • The presenting author must be registered for final acceptance of the abstract to the program and publication in the Abstract Book. Please note that the presenting author is not automatically registered by submitting an abstract. Regular registration implies payment of the registration fee.
  • Authors of the accepted abstracts must attend the Congress and present them in person.
  • If the abstracts will not be presented at the Congress as Oral, Flash, or Poster presentations, they will not be published in the Congress Book. 
  • When submitting an abstract, authors should indicate their presentation preference (oral, flash presentation, or poster).
  • During submission of the abstract, it should be indicated which of the following subheadings the study belongs to:
  • Abstracts should be arranged according to the following sections and these sections should not be listed as headlines in the abstract.
    • Applications for pharmaceuticals and therapeutics
    • Enzyme Engineering
    • Enzyme Discovery
    • Enzyme Mechanism and Kinetics
    • Enzyme Purification Technologies
    • Enzyme-Based Technologies
    • Enzyme Applications
    • Bioprocessing for Fine Chemicals
    • Bioprocess Development
    • Computational Studies for Enzymes
    • Bioprocessing
    • Other
  • Only the first letter of the abstract title should be capitalized. Abbreviations in the title should not be used.
  • Author names and affiliations are mandatory. The author names will be printed exactly as given in the form. The names should not include academic titles.
  •  The name of the presenting author must be underlined.
  • Abstracts should be arranged according to the following sections and these sections should not be listed as headlines in the abstract.
    • General Information and Purpose
    • Materials and Methods
    • Findings (numerical and/or statistical information are given)
    • Discussion
    • Conclusion
  • Project/research support for the proposed research should be stated in the "Note to the Scientific Committee".
  • Abstracts that are currently in progress and that have not yet received results and studies that do not include the sections given above will not be evaluated.
  • The organizing committee has the legal right to use the submitted abstracts for conference purposes.

 

ABSTRACT EVALUATION

The evaluation of the abstracts are being done online by the Abstract Evaluation Committee via Oxford Abstracts Submission & Review system.
The name, surname, and institutions of the authors are kept unrevealed to the committee (double blind review). 
For the abstract to be evaluated, the submitter must have completed the Congress registration process.
Authors will be informed by e-mail regarding the abstract acceptance /rejection, presentation type, and scheduling.
